River City School of Leadership

River City School of Leadership started with a dream to impact the Richmond, VA area through quality Biblical education, spiritual impartation, practical local church application, and classroom collaboration. Several local church pastors united with a common vision to train and equip local church leaders within the RVA area with basic doctrinal and theological instruction.

Classes are now being offered at multiple campuses in the Richmond, Virginia area in person and online. We are providing the opportunity for those who are interested to earn two different ministry certificates.

What are our students saying?

Old Testament Synthesis was very interactive, both with Professor Russell and my classmates. I found Professor Russell to be very responsive when there were questions.

Biblical Concepts of Leadership and Pauline Epistles were quite collaborative; I had fun learning and getting to know my classmates. I took these classes online and Professor Dwayne and Pastor Scott did a great job of answering questions and keeping the class engaging.

Professor Dwayne was very engaging, welcoming, and showed great willingness to ensure we were able to grasp the topic at hand. If I had a question, he would be sure to address it in a digestible manner.

In the Relational Leadership class, Pastor Scott sought input frequently on the topics that were discussed.
